*My sunnies, choker, and photography were sponsored, but all opinions are my own.*
I’m calling this my summer wanderlust boho look. I had to include this cool suitcase in a shoot, somehow. It’s such a fun, travel accessory. And I’m on a boho kick lately. I’ll likely be adding more photos of this shoot later on.
If I’m correct, I believe I found my skirt and top at Nordstrom. I bought my cowgirl boots at a consignment store in Colorado a few years back. My choker and stacked rings are from Eloisa’s Store. And my sunnies are from Rue 21. The suitcase is a thrift store find.
I worked with Phillip at STS Photography on this shoot. He showed me Prairie Creek Park in Richardson, which has this adorable waterfall, wooded everywhere, with lovely trails. It’s definitely one of my favorite parks, now.
When I was 18 or 19, I started traveling around the US with my Yorkie, Tiki. I was a snowboarder at a ski and summer resort for a few winters. I’d drive from Wisconsin to Idaho in the winter and return home in the spring.
A few years later, I moved to Colorado where I lived in Pagosa Springs and Gunnison for a few more years while going to school online. When I moved from Colorado to Dallas, I knew I would end up making a complete, lifestyle change. I was now going to learn how to be a city girl.
I must admit, it took me a little time, but when I started feeling like I belonged in Dallas, nothing has been the same since. Dallas is my second home now. I can’t wait to make more lasting memories here.
If I didn’t mention it before, I’m from a small town in Wisconsin. I’ve never lived in a place bigger than around 40,000 people before I moved to Dallas. It was definitely a major change.
I’m beyond excited to continue to travel in the future. I never know where the world will take me next, but that’s a part of the whole adventure. Not knowing what’s coming next is certainly thrilling.
