Erica's Table of 20 Dallas Event Afrostylicity and Dallas Trends

Last Saturday, I had the opportunity and pleasure of joining the Erica’s Table of 20 Dallas Event. Erica’s Table brings together women and men entrepreneurs to inspire and motivate one another with their unique stories. This was Erica’s first event hosted in Dallas.

Erica Dias started Erica’s Table of 20 and the B Firm PR in Atlanta. She hand-selects every person she invites to this intimate event. There is no judgement and everyone is uplifting.

I was beyond inspired by everyone’s stories. The featured guests at the Dallas event included, Shavone Riggins of Curlkalon and Megan Willis of Celebrate Dallas. Megan even did the flower displays on the table.

Shavone Riggins is a woman with a truly empowering story. She, along with a few other women there, solved a problem that brought them success. James Thomas of Southern Dallas Magazine was, also, there covering the event.

Erica’s Table of 20 was hosted at The Zodiac Restaurant in the Neiman Marcus on Main Street. I’ve been to The Zodiac just once before, and the food and interior is divine. I ordered the Sauteed Salmon Filet and it was just about the best thing ever.

Each guest received goodie bags, and there were these inspiring and delicious cupcakes from Annie’s Culinary Creations at each place-setting. I’m definitely loving Erica’s inspirational quote, “Faith it until you make it.” Listed below are the items included in the bags. For a time, there even was a Snapchat filter for the event.

Items featured in the gift bags included:

– Mielle Organics hair products
– Jessica’s Bake Shop rice crispy treats and cookies
– Curls Organic hair products
– Vintage & More 101
– The Glamatory lip gloss
– Express Smile Atlanta

You can buy Erica’s book of inspirational quotes she’s discovered over the course of her career. I did not look through it, but I know it contains nothing but uplifting words anyone would want to read. You can find it on Amazon.

I’m so grateful I was invited to Erica’s Table of 20. I made wonderful, new connections, and had the chance to see some ladies I just recently met. I even happened to get a picture with Afrostylicity before I left.

As usual, don’t forget to follow me on Instagram for daily updates. Subscribe to my blog newsletter for weekly updates. Check back soon to read more about what’s been going on in my life.

Bye, lovelies!
