I’m finally writing about some of the things I’ve been up to lately. So much has happened, I’m sure I will end up leaving something out. I hope you enjoy reading about my Dallas Trends March and April Recap.
Let’s sum up the past few weeks:
One of the goals I have for myself this year is to travel more. So far this year, I’ve been to Lake Travis for a day, and Janesville, Wisconsin for a week. I have plans to go to Choctaw Casino on Monday, and potentially Sinya by the end of the year. I’m also working on many more plans.
I signed up for Brandbacker a few weeks ago, and recently wrote about Litter Genie and Finesse shampoo and conditioner on my Instagram. I’m also signed up for Buzzfeed, and Social Influencers, where I’ve scored many other free goodies. These aren’t necessarily paid opportunities, but I like freebies.
A week or so ago, I also received a sampler package of cookies from Charlie’s Cookie Shop. They were so good, we gobbled them up in minutes. I loved all of them equally the same.
In mid-April, I spent a week with my family after almost a year. It was some much needed time together, and I can’t wait to go back. I’m always so pleased with how my family is growing.
Right before I visited my family, I received some Norvell Sunless Tanner from Nicole Watts who’s in McKinney. I’m loving the color and last of this spray tan so much. Nicole also gave me some handmade scrubs and lotion, which I’m also loving.
I was also accepted to a number of campaigns in March, including Brawny, Direct Energy, and Carpet One. These offers come from sites like, Social Fabric, Massive Sway, and Blogher. You’ll have to apply to these websites before you can apply for their campaigns.
Towards the end of March, I also received a poster map of Dallas roadways from Modern Map Art. I have a thing for maps, and these prints are pretty cool. They also have pillows, which I adore.
Also, my Pure Barre sponsorship was only for one month. I’m still working with CrossFit in Allen, TX, but I’m needing to get back over there. I have a tendency to fluctuate my exercise ambition.
That pretty much sums up my March and April recap. I have a bunch more plans coming up I can’t wait to talk about. Stay tuned to find out what else is going on.
