On March 3rd, I had the privilege of attending the Resource Center Dallas 20th Annual Toast to Life gala at the Empire Room. This nonprofit event featured a Bollywood-theme. It was such a colorful and beautiful night.
I was lucky enough to have Silk Threads dress me for the gala in an $1800 outfit. Bam Beauty did my hair and makeup at their luxury studio. And I had a personal photographer, Kristianna Davied, capture beautiful photos all night.
There was food from local restaurants like Truluck’s, cocktails, a stunning cake, and henna tattooing. Guests could also enjoy the hookah outdoors, and there was a live auction, along with a dance floor where Bollywood dancers performed.
It was such a good time meeting some new faces, as well as finding one of my crushes, LeeAnne Locken. She has a fun-loving personality, and even broke it down on the dance floor. Steve Kemble was also there. Find more photos on the Resource Center Facebook page.
The Resource Center Dallas has raised over $4 million towards programs and services that supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgenders, as well as all people affected by HIV through working to improve health and wellness. They offer education to individuals and helps strengthen families and communities.
I highly encourage everyone to check out the Resource Center Dallas, and learn more about what they offer society. Your support can make an impact on someone’s life. Keep an eye out for their next gala and join us for the fun.
If you were able to make it to the gala, I’d love to know what was your favorite part. I think one of my favorite parts was looking at all of the gorgeous outfits. It was truly eye-candy.
You can read more about the event on Culturemap Dallas. I think it will also be featured in Paper City, and Modern Luxury. If you spot me in their pages, let me know!
