5 Ways to Use the Direct Energy Luci Light

I’m so excited to share about the Direct Energy Give Brighter 12 Plan. The 12-month-fixed-rate, electricity plan will donate one Luci Light to developing countries for every purchase. Plus, you will receive your own light.

Direct Energy also offers the ability to track your energy usage with Direct Your Energy, where you can see how much energy each appliance uses. They are also the only energy provider to partner with Plenti®. And Direct Energy is the official sponsor of Texas Athletics.

Oftentimes, we don’t think about how privileged we are to be able to turn on our lights at night. In developing communities, their go-to light source is kerosene, which is dangerous and not healthy. There are also communities that don’t have any lights at all. This is a major issue for businesses, clinics, and families.

I’m so impressed with the Luci Light concept. It’s very compact, light, and durable, you can bring it just about anywhere. The light is solar powered, and has four modes, including one for emergencies. This is an inflatable light, and lasts for up to seven hours on the bright setting. And even as long as 12 hours on the regular setting.

If you are a camper or hiker, this light is incredible to have on hand. I haven’t been camping in ages, but the next time I go, I’m bringing this Luci Light along. And, if we have an electricity outage from storm, again, this light will be perfect for illuminating the whole room.

I want to share a few more ways you can use your Luci Light around your home. It’s a super convenient and handy item. You could easily come up with at least five more ways to use this light.

Here are 5 Ways to Use the Direct Energy Luci Light:

1. Reading light
2. Desk light
3. In replace of a candle center-piece
4. Night light
5. Carry it in your purse

Up to 1.5 billion people are without safe, reliable, or affordable electricity. Direct Energy partnered with MPOWRD to bring this amazing, giving opportunity. MPOWERD is a non-profit program that helps bring the Luci Light to places, such as Kenya, Haiti, Philippines, and Nepal.

Be apart of the #givebrighter program so you can make a difference in the world. See their YouTube video for more information.
